About the position:
Full-time ELS Instructors
Responsibilities:
- Teach the curriculum of the program as assigned (20 instructional hours per week)
- Prepare lessons, exercise, and tests
- Evaluate and counsel student on academic progress
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning
- Participate in administrative meetings and professional development activities
- Develop and refine teaching materials
Qualifications:
- Native level speaker of English
- Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Teaching OR Bachelor’s and a 120-hour in-class Teaching Certification (TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, ELT, or equivalent)
- Preferred: Masters in TESOL or Applied Linguistics or equivalent (DELTA)
- Minimum 4 years teaching experience
- Enthusiastic and dynamic in personality, displaying a passion to help students speak English with confidence.
- Show a desire to for continuous professional development and sharing of best practices
- Display a commitment to high standards of delivery
- Practise respect for all communities, cultures and religions.
